Welcome to East Side Media (ESM), a podcasting company that chronicles human-interest stories through interviews & real-life experiences. ESM is a collaboration started by brothers Brad and Paul Burke. Shows will include entertaining and informative content over multiple episodes. Sidetracks will feature standalone stories and curious tales that we come across along the way.

Brad Burke - Producer/PodMaster & Head Janitor / Host

Brad Burke is the youngest / best looking brother and aspiring “PodMaster” with a background in Engineering, Business Management, and being organized to the point of being annoying. Like many East Siders, Brad settled in an eastern suburb of St. Paul, raised a family and continues to work, play and long for simpler times. Brad is responsible for the technical direction of the podcast, ensuring we continue to produce entertaining/meaningful content, and cleaning up after failed efforts.

Paul Burke - Content Director & Memory Whisperer / Host

Paul Burke is the classic middle child always trying to keep the family together, an empathetic extrovert with a background in business, technology and an interest in all objects that are bright & shiny. He committed the ultimate east side sin, and crossed the river to Mpls where he and his wife have raised two boys. Paul is responsible for ensuring content is relevant to the story being told, that effective creative techniques & sound effects are used, and elevating small talk to ‘medium’ talk.
